Sarah is Director of Marketing and Communications for the Savory Institute and owner/operator of Gleason Bison, a cow-calf bison operation currently being managed in partnership with 777 Ranch. Growing up skiing, cycling, running, river rafting, and backpacking the mountains of Colorado, Sarah has always had a deep appreciation for being a good steward of the environment.
During a successful marketing career that spanned Whole Foods Market, Zuke's Natural Pet Foods, and the United States Congress, Sarah felt a need to reconnect with the land. With no previous agriculture experience, Sarah embarked on a journey to become a bison producer and, in 2016, Gleason Bison was formed. Today, the Gleason Bison herd continues to grow while being managed holistically. Sarah practices what she preaches through her work at the Savory Institute, being one of the thousands of producers regenerating the world's grasslands through Holistic Management.See All Speakers
