Jesse Smith

Jesse Smith is the director of Land Stewardship at the White Buffalo Land Trust, a foundation for regenerative agriculture based in central coastal California. He has been working to grow and develop multi-enterprise ecosystems within his community spanning the sectors of production, processing, aggregation and sales. His experience in agricultural system design and food system integration fuels his passion for developing a more resilient and prosperous agricultural economy and ecology in his region. Jesse also works with Kiss the Ground, a non-profit media and advocacy organization with a mission to inspire participation in global regeneration starting with Soil. KTG is building a scholarship fund to support farmer training and soil health monitoring across our nations farmlands. This program is focused on providing the knowledge, understanding and network to transition our land stewardship toward holistic thinking aligned with the principles of regenerative agriculture.
